A massive congratulations to Callum on passing his AWS/Azure Exams
Our ever-talented software developer, Callum Garven, this month attained two qualifications in Cloud Storage. He successfully passed exams in both Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure storage. These qualifications will help our team further our outreach into the world of Cloud Computing and Bespoke Software Development.
The range of skills tested included:
- Cloud concepts
- Core Azure services
- Core solutions and management tools on Azure
- General security and network security features
- Identity, governance, privacy, and compliance features
- Azure cost management and Service Level Agreements
- What the AWS Cloud is and the basic global infrastructure
- Basic AWS Cloud architectural principles
- The AWS Cloud value proposition
- Key services on the AWS platform and their common use cases (for example, compute and analytics)
- Basic security and compliance aspects of the AWS platform and the shared security model
- The billing, account management, and pricing models
- Identify sources of documentation or technical assistance (for example, whitepapers or support tickets)
- Basic/core characteristics of deploying and operating in the AWS Cloud

Callum has already launched several cloud-based systems and mobile applications for a number of clients and these qualifications will further the skillset ITC Digital bring to bespoke software projects.
